Rebekah Adams
Former Undergraduate Student


Rebekah Adams worked in the lab as a sophomore undergraduate student in Chemical and Biological Engineering while also pursuing a certificate in Planets and Life. Her interests include cellular encapsulation, polymers, autoimmune diseases, and space medicine. Her summer research in the lab focused on multi-phase flow in porous media.

Rebekah comes from South Orange, New Jersey, where she conducted independent research on how a virus could trigger Type 1 Diabetes. She spends most of her free time reading, coding, writing short stories and books, playing the violin, and composing music. On occasion, she gives treats and gifts to her peers around the holidays.
