Daniel Amchin
Former Graduate Student

Daniel Amchin  was the third PhD student to join, and graduate from, our lab. He did his undergraduate work in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California where he worked in Andrea Armani’s lab on selective cancer therapies and optical diagnostics. In our lab, his research focused on biophysical modeling of bacterial migration and growth and obtained his PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Princeton in May 2022. He then moved on to a postdoctoral position at Johnson & Johnson.

Daniel grew up near Philadelphia and enjoys offering visitors recommendations of what to do in the city. He loves music and writes his own tunes on the guitar. He cannot resist a good riddle or math puzzle.
